Complaints & contact

If something isn't right, tell us

Whether it's a payment, a draw, a prize or an organisation's conduct, we'd rather hear about it than have you wonder.

Who is responsible for what

The organisation running a raffle is responsible for the prize, its description and any permit it needs. RFFL is responsible for the platform, the draw process, the published record, and handling your data. Payments are processed by Stripe.

How to raise a concern

Reply to any RFFL email about your entry, or use the contact details on the organisation's profile page for prize questions. Include the raffle name and the email address you entered with. Please don't send card details.

What to expect

  • Acknowledgement within two business days.
  • A written response within ten business days, or an update if more time is needed.
  • If a draw is disputed, we will share the draw record and the ordered entry list with the complainant and the organiser.

If you remain dissatisfied

Charitable raffles in Australia are overseen by state and territory regulators. In New South Wales this is NSW Fair Trading; other jurisdictions have equivalent bodies. Payment disputes can also be raised with your card issuer.
